The art of sales negotiation and the reading and correct interpretation of how the situation is evolving is often learned on the job, not always with the desired outcome.
Training for such situations requires a realistic and risk-free environment for practicing sales conversations, with a focus on adapting to different social styles and emotional cues. However, providing such a level of training across a global workforce cost efficiently is challenging.
The solution lies in the virtual world. Rather than taking the individual to the situation, take the situation to the individual. By donning a headset, the individual can be placed directly into a virtual world that replicates a key scenario they are likely to face.
Utilising stereoscopic 360 footage, real actors and two differently themed office locations, the experience was filmed to create a completely immersive experience. With two distinct sales negotiation scenarios, the experience develops in response to the individual's choice of response initiated by a card-based system within the HUD.
The immersive training solution aims to deliver increased confidence in sales conversations, allowing the individual to develop a keener reading of the client and situation on an emotional and motivational level, which ultimately converts to improved outcomes in sales conversations.
